Ekta had to pleasure to organise the NZ premiere of "Eleven Days" in Wellington which took place on the 12 July 2018. The movie set in Western Australia is about cross-cultural interactions between an immigrant Sikh family and the larger Australian community. It is in English with a smattering of Punjabi and Noongar. It is produced by a recent Malaysian Indian migrant to Australia. 

In hosting this movie, we hoped, albeit in a small way, to contribute towards building a more inclusive society and in encouraging new migrants to also get involved in the creative art. We were very lucky to have the producer, Jaginder Singh with us during the screenings. The movie was screened in Auckland and Hamilton after the premiere and was a huge success.

 

We had a full house in all three venues.
